Nokia 5230 Releases in India for Rs 9000

I was not expecting Nokia 5230 release so soon, as its announced just a few weeks ago. 5530 XpressMusic is expected to launch from such a long time but is not seen in stores yet. I came to know about 5230′s arrival through ebay.in online store. As soon as i saw the price tag of “Rs 8490″ i was tempted to buy it.Unfortunately the seller had only 50 pieces and all got sold by the time i came to know. It is still listed there but, out of stock.
So, in the evening i visited the nearest Nokia Priority Dealer store in my area to check its arrival. Any new Nokia phone is first made available exclusively at Nokia priority dealer for a little bit higher price tag. I checked the price there, which is Rs 9000. May be you will get it for a lower price at you place, as VAT and Octroi charges are higher in my region.
I got a feel of Nokia 5230 at the store, and believe me its truly awesome for the offered price. The first thing that caught my attention was the big high resolution, crisp display. I tried the touchscreen and response was real quick even with a slight touch.I tested the camera as well. Even though its a 2MP fixed focus camera the pictures look very crisp due to the high resolution display. Nokia 5230 is a true value for money Symbian smartphone. It offers so much at such a reasonable price tag. No other smartphone maker can ever dare to offer such a feature rich smartphone at such a throwaway price.
Remember, the touchsreen phones in this price range offered by Samsung and LG which are quite similar in looks are nowhere near Nokia symbian smartphones. Thats the main reason why Nokia is so popular in Asian countries where buyers are budget conscious and give more importance to value for money. So if you are planning to buy Nokia 5230 its price will range in between Rs 8500-9000 at your place.
To know all the features and specifications go through the Nokia 5230 review.

Bought this in Bangalore for 9k with a 4 GB card thrown in around 2 weeks back. Bought a separate Micro USB for 150 bucks, worth it for transferring files to the phone especially music.
Even though maps software is installed, the maps are not, details on how to get the map data from nokia is available here

i imagine it was a bit rushed, and unnoticed some options that not many individuals talk about. Everybody is aware of that the majority new smartphones have internet, so why present that primary operate at its bear minimum. Scroll up scroll down zoom in zoom out. Actually? which new cellphone doesnt do this? How bout talk about how the textual content rearranges itsself. Additionally the texting, very poor review. Why didnt you mention you should utilize the mic and text along with your voice? Unnoticed ALOT of other extra important options
