Nokia 5230 Keyboard

Do you like the Nokia 5230 virtual keyboard? I find it quite boring and in portrait mode it is only alphanumeric and I’m not fond of landscape mode as i have to use both the thumbs and i find it difficult to type that way.Have you tried the Opera Mini portrait QWERTY keyboard, I’m used to it and i prefer it over the default 5230 keyboard.
There are few keyboard applications which let you change the default keyboard to much better virtual  keyboards in different layouts for easier and faster typing.

DayHand Input Virtual Keyboard by Malik -

This virtual keyboard application is made for different language, but modified into English keyboard by a person named Malik. It offers keyboard layout of Opera Mini and iPhone as shown in screenshots.The detailed guide for using this application is included in the download package.

SlideIT Keyboard -

Slide It is a cool new kind of virtual keyboard which works better with stylus and makes typing many times faster as you just have to slide from one letter to another to type a word. It suggest words as you slide.You can try it for free but you have to pay for full version.

Virtual Navigation -

If you have used a non touch cellphone previously, you may miss the D pad navigation while using  Nokia 5230. Now it can be achieved easily via a virtual navigation 3rd party application as shown in the screenshot below.
