Nokia 5230 Firmware Update – v20.0.005

Your beloved Nokia 5230 has again got a firmware update (v20.0.005). The last firmware version was v12.0.089 which didn’t bring anything new in terms of  features but this time you won’t be disappointed.The most notable improvement is kinetic scrolling in Grid Menu.The other significant changes are -

    I can’t play any flv videos after the v.20 update! Flash Lite 3.1 sucks! I hate it! 3.0 was way better!

    By not hackable, do you also mean that it cannot use self signed applications?

    No, after signing you can install any application.

    its unhackable?? so, we can’t install any apps on the phone when we updated to this firmware??? but is it hackable now???

    I can’t update my phone to this version because the phone can’t find v20.0.005 … I tried to update from the PC but it didn’t work . :( Can you help me ?

    After update to v.20, the phone became unstable, hangs and sometime reboots without reason. I do not recommend this update if you are not using OVI maps.

    the nokia nuron (5230) for tmobile got an upgrade to version 12.2.082.. i cant tell whats new.. any ideas?

    1.) how can i check the version of my phone’s current software ?
    2.) If i install the updates will i be able to revert back to the last version ?
    3.) Can’t i get the offline installer set up from somewhere of the software ?
    If yes where and how would i be able to install it

    nokia v 20 will let you record HD videos.Get scrolled with nokia kinetic scrolling.Next verson v24 in beta lab of Nokia china will let u access ofice 2010 mobile.

    Hey I was trying to update my phone over proxy using NSU and it failed giving a firewall problem and that nsu_ ui_client.exe and nsl_host_process.exe is blocked by firewall. I used this command t force NSU to use my proxy set HTTP_PROXY=127.0.0.1:5000(or any other proxy) and it worked.

    i have a problem in my nokia 5230… it was normal till yesterday…but now it doesnt notify incoming new messages neither by sound nor by vibration… even the notifying icon at the top riht corner of the screen is missing… only the LED in the middle button blinks… :( :( can anyone figure out the problem and give me the solution…pls… i have tried changing the settings of the profiles too…pls hurry up….

    Hi i dont know about the problem but i think there is some attack of virus or did u tried to hack the phone.
    The best possible thing is master reset ur phone its completely like formating ur pc no backup will remain and company settings will be stored with default firmware(os).pls u backup ur contacts.
    To master reset type *#7370# (just google up nokia reset)

    I’ve updated my 5230 and it’s still hacked (I used HelloOX2), i guess it’s because my phone was hacked before updating…

    hi i updated my nokia 5230 with firmware v21.0.004 and it dosn’t guide audio files to playlist or all songs after refreshing library, it was possible with earlier version of firmware . can any body fix it
