I’ve already downloaded the updating software and when I got to the part where it recognizes my phone, it doesn’t detect it. The OVA also says that there isn’t an update. I was wondering if it was because my my type is RM-593? My version is still 11.2.080, and I was wondering if the new firmware will allow me to use animated themes.

help me i have 5230 latest model which come for London, here problem on mobile show PINK COLOR LINE and restart its self in every 16 hrs after..
my cell soft version:- 20.0.005.267.02
date:- 13/04/2010, RM-588
pls help me any one face it problem as me to u solve it then tell me how can i solve to my cell phone for 5230 neon..

But bhai,main ‘v20 ‘ki nahin v21 ki bat kar raha hun aaj apne phone par jakar software update check karna,aur mera yakin mano,isse acha firmware aj tak release nahin hua hai,Gud Luck

hi guyz,i updated my 5230 neon to firmware v21.0.004.but wat i think is there is no special differences between my before firmware version…but its OK….hav fun with version 21???

if smbdy knows any special features in this version 21,plz let me knw.thnx

I hav nkia 5230 n i was using v12 last ngt i update to v20 it is very bekar software so plz dont update ur phne to dis vrsn v12 is more faster dan v 20 . Bhai kehna maan lo warna pachtaoge jaise mai ro raha hu update karke kuch dwnlod nai kar paoge

Hello friends! Our beloved nokia 5230 has again got a firmware update(v21.0.004). And its so cool. I’ve just updated yesterday(16.7.10). It has got an improved flash player,kinetic scrolling,improved browser and some other things. I don’t know whether it is hackable or not! But i’ll advice you to update your firmware;),say thanks if you like. One more thing i wanna say to you all. Any one who has nokia 5230,please recommend this site,the more the people the more will be informers and helpers,thank you!

hey guys….i installed nokia software updater in windows 7…but wen i opened the application..it get stuck with “Starting application”…then it never opens…so i tried in OVI suit to update my phone….but also stuck with..”Preparing download.”
it never goes to next page….is there any other option to update other than Nokia updater or OVI suit..thnxs in advance
