Go to  http://cer.opda.cn/en/. Register and Login.

After logging in, click on  “Apply cer” as seen in “Screenshot 2″ above.

You need to fill the application form as shown in “Screenshot 3″ above. Find out the IMEI no of your Nokia 5230 by typing *#06# and fill it in the required field. After submitting the application form you have to wait for 24 hours.

Next day when you will login, click on “Signing Softs” as show above. Go to bottom of the page there you’ll get the option to upload file.

Download unsigned Helloox 2.03 and save it in your PC. Browse for the software enter Remark and click on “Submit and Upload” button.

You’re almost done. Download the signed version of Helloox 2.03 and install it in your Nokia 5230. After installing Go to Menu>Installed Apps>Helloox and run it. That’s it your phone is now hacked!

If you have Nokia 5230 and you wish to check whether a new firmware is available for your phone, go to Menu>Applications>Tools>SW update. Yesterday i checked and found that an updated  firmware v12.0.089 is available.

Over the air (OTA) update is currently not available so you have to update Nopkia 5230 firmware via PC suite. As the 5230 sales package differs region wise, there may be no USB data cable in your sales package, in that case you need to purchase Nokia CA-101 USB cable to update the firmware. After installing Nokia 5230 PC suite in your computer, attach your phone via USB cable and select PC suite mode.

Now if you will type *#0000# on your phone’s homescreen, it will show you the updated firmware version 12.0.089.
